Netflix’s new most talked about show, Emily in Paris, is exactly what I thought it would be: an American girl’s romp around a romantic foreign city with absolutely no heart or soul. It’s a vapid hole of nothingness. It’s also completely baffling. I could only get through the first two episodes. This is not the fault of the cast.
